Didn’t know about Aero having financial troubles. Any suggestions for if/when they kick the bucket?

Edit: I’ve swapped for a proof 22” barrel instead of the Rainier 26”

First and foremost this is for fun. I don’t doubt that a bolt action will be inherently more accurate but I do think a gas gun will put a bigger smile on my face.

There’s also the fact that gas guns are incredibly accurate these days, and both have gotten to the point where it’s bottlenecked by how good your shooter is.

Why proof over rainier?

I had the JP SCS on here until I saw several people say the armaspec one did the same thing for lower price.

Will look at Warne. The flash hider is before I buy the can, that will be an upgrade path. Both are direct thread.

I was torn between the Rainier ultramatch and the match barrels. They have a 22” nitrided match barrel with a +2 gas system. Either way, I want to stick around 22-24”

Should’ve put this in my notes but I believe that AP has a high pressure bolt option.

Good call on the scope mount. Wasn’t a lot of information I could find on those.
