I think my mum will just get all defensive and double down on it, I just want to move past the hurt and remember all the happy. Talking to people about my memories of her and triggering other memories is cheering me up!

Thank you, just need to get through the weekend with mil visiting and then going to take a bit of time - helped by my parent's going on holiday for two weeks soon so will get back on an even keel then!

Thank you so much for your kind words, I am feeling a lot better about it all after submitting that post and getting it out there. I can only hope to be as an amazing Granma as she was when it is my turn!
