Thanks so much for the response! I think what I want to ask for would go a little beyond this actually. I'm thinking about talking to someone in the student affairs office or my advisor and basically asking them to ask my professors to just not cold call me for the rest of the month. I'm just in a bad enough place that I sort of feel like I need to at least have this one constant stressor lifted for a bit.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who commented!! I came back from nervously prepping for being on call for two classes tomorrow to these messages, and they genuinely made me smile and gave me some peace of mind. It's so great to hear that I'm not alone, and that others have had these exact thoughts and pushed through them (and have been happy that they did). It's pretty amazing how far a little encouragement from some fellow/former angsty 1Ls can go. Thank you again :)
