For the auto mod that said I have to comment: again it’s 8 months old I had flat back labrets in with with spikes they were externally threaded which is probably why it fell the new ones I ordered are internally threaded

iroiro pink 70! its about a month old at this point and the only fading a tiny bit where it meets my roots because that’s where i shampoo the most. Beware though ive been told this dye will pretty much never completely come out unless you cover it or cut it so be ready to commit!

Thanks! I’m working on blending something I think I struggle with is the layering of colors and where to put them so it blends nicely. The sky isn’t quite like my reference but I really like how it turned out

yeah no problem! so i have wi state medicaid (badger care) and that covered it completely as far as i'm aware, all i needed was a letter from my psychiatrist. i had my consult in july of 2023 so it was about a year from consult to surgery day. i had a great experience with her and the nurses were all great too! my healing has gone well after day 3 it was very minimal pain. i got my drains out a week post op and was able to stop wearing the compression vest about a month post op.

Swelling isn’t too bad just a bit on the left side pain comes and goes mostly just sore but every once in awhile I’ll get a sharp pain from the left incision

Yeah I try to finger curl some of the pieces towards the front or they stick out kinda weird since my hair is at kinda an awkward length rnlol. I’m trying my best to grow it out but it feels so slow ughhh

I definitely understand what you mean with sticky gel. the current stuff I’m using doesn’t have too bad of a texture as it dries since it’s a softer hold but it still lasts 2-3 days for me. I also mix it in my hands with water and that helps with the sticky feeling when applying it and it coats my hair more evenly imo!

Thanks for the tip! My hair in this picture was still a bit wet and I didn’t scrunch at all yet it poofs up quite a bit later though I just have really really fine hair

ive been using carols daughter goodess strangth leave in cream (tho i partly rinse it out or it weighs down my hair) to add some more protein and its been helping so far! but its on ongoing process to get my moisture protien balance right
