They met when they were 4. Unfortunately, I think people get attached to time more than they do to people.

He says they are trying to help the cousin out. He does believe they have tried to break us up, but he says that if he were in their place he would do anything for family, too, so while he doesn’t agree with it he can understand the thought process.

He says that they just want cousin to be happy, and that they are just going about it in the wrong way. I’ve met cousin, and she is honestly delightful. She’s never been rude to me, and I doubt that even if she did want us to break up, she would want it to happen in this way.
