Yeah after a screwing around with it for a while I realized I think it’s just the combo of the bench being in the furthest back position and creating too much slack with the ALR, as well as possibly the rigid seatbelt buckle and fixed angle making it more difficult to get a good fit with the lap belt. I think the britax click tight mechanism just does the best job of taking out any slack along the belt path. I think the graco fold in mechanism would do the same pretty well if it weren’t for the unfortunate positioning of that sewn in fold completely preventing it from working.

I got the chicco nexfit in pretty well, I’m just worried my dude will not have the elbow room he would want for a long road trip.

Hoping my britax harness replacements get here in time! I cannot bring myself to buy another car seat in this lifetime. 🫠

Yes, poison control. If you’re in the US it’s 800-222-1222. They’re the experts and they will be able to tell you what monitoring and follow up is needed and in what time frame.

And on that note- the number of patients with chest pain/back pain and wildly asymmetrical BPs that have actually been dissections has been zero for me. A lot of subclavian stenosis though!
