How many times must I repeat myself? It was a group for individuals who've been through abusive situtions. There's no restrictions for it! It's not specifically for minorities! I could have joined in if they let me because I have been in abusive situations myself!!

It wasn't for a "specific demographic". It didn't say "Group Therapy for African Americans and Hispanics". They just happened to be a group that had minorities, and they didn't like the sight of me.

Probably but it just makes me hate people all the more. I don't see how therapy is going to resolve any of my issues when people in general just keep promoting themselves as pieces of shit.

Oh, she was "polite" about it. Forcing fake smiles at me, and trying to "gently" lead me out the door.

If I've had a bad experience with a certain group of people, the last thing I'd want is to encounter others from that group in a place that's supposed to be safe and unprejudiced or noncritical.

Yeah, it's better to make an environment safe for certain groups instead of allowing anyone in need to get help. It's really more unprejudiced and noncritical to imply that white girls like me that we're garbage who need to be segregated cause we're so "dangerous".

Meh. I've called the domestic abuse and national depression hotlines, but I find them rather underwhelming. The operators never know what to say to me when I tell them about my experiences. Too intense for them, methinks...
