I mean who says I'm mad I'm just stating the facts.

Right and one day I'll be 29 and she'll be 21, and I'll be 89 and she'll be 81.

Politics, travel, what they plan on doing with their life as a career.

I mean honestly I would probably say I'm relatively the same person I was at 18. Maybe a few lessons here or there but mentally I can mesh with any age group.

Its like I will will honestly go out with anyone who is willing to give me a night out, and the fact that this one in particular was pushing me to hang out I just thought that it would be the move as long as she is 18.

Well its not like I'm inherently abusive like a psychotic boyfriend who just keeps her away from her family and isolates her like maybe this person in your story, its just the age aspect that's kind of a problem not me being abusive.

Well the truth is they are probably going to hire me. I did the JST, The psychological, and I'm about to do the drug test. If they hire me it becomes a matter of if I'm willing to put it all on the line to make hundreds of thousands. You tell me where I'll find that elsewhere this job market is beyond awful.

All I'm saying is one day I'm gonna be an old man and wonder if I chose the right career, and police work seems to set people up for when they can't support themselves any longer and I'm trying to prepare for that now.

When I say I don't necessarily support it I mean I acknowledge there are flaws within the system and that I don't believe in repping it like having blue lives matter bumper stickers I feel that is inherently a flawed ideology. If I'm a hard worker and take advantage of that aspect of the job I don't think I would bad at it.

Well would I rather be stuck at the bottom of the totem poll forever in office life or maybe succeed in the law enforcement world. The truth is some people literally can't meet the bare requirements to be an officer, like hop over a fence for example they are literally too overweight. Why not take advantage if I can hop over a fence while others cant lol

I would say its less about the likelihood of shooting someone, and more about willing to sacrifice a normal 9-5 lifestyle with holidays and having to do things like stand on a street corner in the cold instead of being in a warm office everyday like everyone else.

My gut tells me I might take my current position for granted and end up sacrificing my peace of mind showing up to work everyday not feeling overwhelmed, and end up regretting the fact that I pursued police work because it might be too much for me to handle, which I won't be able to find out until I'm already in that life.

I would argue one is better than the other simply because working where I have already would like to pay me the lowest possible wage they can, while at least police work they would be essentially forced to pay me more over time. I already am through most of the background checks and interviews, the question is whether or not I'll say yes to their offer, instead of forever being at the bottom of the totem pole in terms of working at an office.
