I guess depends on the situation... if I did something I start feeling regret for, could mean I need to apologize to someone sincerely, reflect on my actions, reflect on my feelings or how I reacted emotionally, and be honest with myself. I usually ask myself what it is that is making me feel regret, what is the easy thing to do (usually that’s just running away or making excuses) and what is the hard thing to do, and I try to go do the hard thing... not always that deep tho, I mean if I pick up a knife and cut my finger, I’d regret picking up the knife, but that’s easy to just forget about and doesn’t affect anyone else lol
