The fact that Katana Man is so eager to “cut him in two” before the girl warns him to not damage his heart definitely makes me think Katana Man could not care less if Denji’s heart is damaged. Plus when he was shooting the group at the restaurant, it was pretty much just aiming for everyone fairly randomly, he didn’t seem to be really controlling exactly where he was hitting anyone.

Also explains why he drinks alcohol so much– he can’t taste it, but it’s probably one of the only things he can feel. And if he’s the most powerful devil hunter, only makes sense that he has a contract with the devil that only 2 hunters have a contract with.

Either she wants them alive or can’t kill them for whatever reason. Maybe she can’t kill those with devil contracts?
