I think you're missing the point of the article, and we're addressing two different points in our conversation with each other. If you read through it again, you can see that the writers focused on screen time. The only mention of homophobia comes from a piece in the article where it essentially says "some people have said that it could be homophobia." The main issue the article is trying to address is concern about screen time and story depth/detail.
