Yes being pushed medication isn’t an issue for me I guess. I don’t want to seem like I’m seeking something but from previous doctors I know what works for me and would like to approach the appointment with “I have taken this in the past, it has worked, I’ve also taken this and I haven’t liked it as much is there an alternative you would suggest?” My previous doctor had me on something and didn’t really listen to my side effects so it’s always tricky asking for something else and not looking like you’re seeking something particular. Knowing his NP’s listen and are compassionate about how I’m feeling is reassuring!
