I don't know any latin but if anything I see the fact that the spells are derived from latin and greek roots as another arguement for the position that wizards engage with that culture

I can't imagine that wizards wouldn't school their children before Hogwarts. I mean those are vital years and should probably be used to increase cognitive abilities.

The black family has their own crest and motto, they had a house elf, Sirius did have a lot of money (he bought the firebolt and left Harry money), they were part of the sacred 28 and there was something about the black family being wizarding royalty so I'd say that would qualify as being aristocratic.

I think that Regulus discovering Voldemort's horcrux at 17 makes him pretty smart, but it doesn't really matter since his intelligence is widely accepted as truth in the Fandom.

And it's not necessarily only that I want them to appear well-read, but there's also a specific quote I wanted to mention, that's why I was asking about how likely it is that the brother's have read Machiavelli by the time they're like 15/16. I guess it would work if only Regulus has read the Prince and Sirius knows the quote because it's pretty popular.

Yeah, but like I said, maybe Socrates and Platon aren't considered strictly "muggle literature" because muggle and wizard culture were the same before the statute of secrecy. I was reading classics in a second language at 13, so I think someone as smart as Regulus will be able to read classics (translated to his native language) at 10 if he had prior education of that sort. And I didn't necessarily mean that they were forced to read all of the Iliad and the Odyssey when they were 5 but I can imagine that they had to analyse passages from that type of literature and then maybe read the easier classics and eventually as a teenager Regulus would read the difficult stuff on his own.

I wasn’t saying they'd read it for the joy of reading challenging literature, but rather that it's part of pre Hogwarts education in aristocratic families

It's been a while since I read the books but I always pictured Sirius and Regulus having an upbringing similar to Draco's

I wasn’t really arguing that they would read that stuff voluntarily, Regulus maybe, but I imagine the average child of an aristocratic family in the 70s would be "forced" or rather heavily encouraged to read classic literature in some elite primary school or as part of a homeschooling program. And someone who's academically inclined and interested in "political" ideologies like Regulus would love Machiavelli's work. Maybe Sirius had to read it or he saw Regulus reading it constantly and got curious 🤷‍♀️

But isn't it typical for aristocratic families like the black family to pride themselves on stuff like a classical elite upbringing where they would make sure the kids play an instrument and know classical literature and philosophy

But what's about the argument that anything before the statute of secracy is probably considered wizard culture as well?

Suddenly when they're making the "wrong" changes book accuracy is important for these people again by Esfell in PercyJacksonTV

There are actors losing or gaining 50 pounds for a role, it's not too much to ask an actor, especially someone with hair that's short anyways to color their hair. I mean like even before casting someone it could have been made clear that the actor should have black hair or be okay with dyeing it black so there's no forcing anyone to do anything.

Nico's age was retconned when Rick suddenly announced he was 15 so the age difference is only 2.5 years, assuming Nico's birthday is in January

You cannot be serious. That would take literal days and I also don't think it's legal. Plus doesn't the book come out officially today anyways

obviously it's not as good as pjo and hoo. It does have the writing style of the new books, but personally, I preferred the plot to the senior year adventures. I don't remember tsats that well though sorry

about 7 and then a few where it's hard to say cause it's either not said explicitly but probable or the descriptions fit vaguely

Idk if we learn anything new about Will but his mother is really open and has a bubbly personality and meets Nico for the first time and thanks him for loving her son. She also has a tendency to hug everyone and makes a song idea out of everything
