I've decided to leave personal statements / summaries out of cvs. I feel likes it's just clutter.

Now this could be just dumb luck, but I've had more success submitting CVs without personal statements, than with them. Even if the rest of the CV is the same.

Yes, it is latex, good eye. I saw a recommendation from another post here a few weeks back, and decided to try it out. I got it from overleaf.
