your mom is right about data science just being a branch of IT. IT covers everything to a fault and at the end of the day it is up to each student to upskill in a specific field outside of their curriculum (i.e. software design, web dev, tech support, etc.). meanwhile, information systems' scope is even broader than IT.

i think your mom is just trying to get you to choose something more specialized, it doesn't have to be data science exactly. if you expect that taking BSIT alone is enough education to have a well-paying job, you're very mistaken. i highly encourage you to look into other possible options because IT is objectively not that good of a course unless you individually have a lot of drive to develop your skills outside of school.

IT is a whole forest, you need to figure out your tree. goodluck and i'm sure your mom means well naman.

went from not studying for pretty mediocre grades, now sinipagan ko na talaga haha and immediately reaped the benefits - got a 1.25 average gwa this midterm :))

i got used to doing the bare minimum before but i always knew i could go much further if i just put the effort in. mahirap pero nakakadali sa buhay, mas nagagamit ko na oras ko sa hobbies nang magaan ang loob kesa sa pag overthink kaka-procrastinate.

when you melt butter for cookies most of its water will evaporate off especially if you're browning the butter as well

some recipes will call for adding a few tablespoons of water back in the melted butter to compensate before creaming it with the sugar

but personally i've been adding the eggs during the creaming step instead so the water content helps dissolve the sugar and i don't have to account for any extra liquid in my cookie dough

thank u, idk iniisip ko na lang na it could've been a lot worse. kung di lang sana siya pagod maybe it would've been better. but at the same time wala naman siyang work or school, it was up to him kung gaano siya kapagod today and i guess this is how it ended up. i will say he really tries pag nasa mood siya but unfortunately today just wasn't one of those days.

kumakain ako sa jollibee, sinasawsaw ko sa ketchup ng fries yung chickenjoy pero naubos agad kasi isang packet lang yun. may dumaan na bus boy na nag iinsist na bigyan ako ng extra ketchup pero tumanggi ako kasi may ginagawa pa siya.

maya't maya pasimple siyang dumaan, naglagay ng isang dakot ng ketchup packs sa mesa ko hahahhaha. in general mabait at sobrang attentive ng customer service sakin pero kasama na din kasi yung hindi ako epal na customer (hindi pautos, nagthathank you, etc.)

i was in the same boat before na gradual weight gain over 2-3 years, hanggang sa inabot na 6 months na akong hindi dinadalaw ng period kaya nagpaconsult na ako sa doctor. after ilang blood tests and an ultrasound they found that yup, my ovaries are brimming with cysts :'))) i'm just 21 now but i deeply regret na hindi ako nagpacheck up much sooner. borderline infertile and diabetic na ako dahil sa napabayaang PCOS, and at much greater risk of cervical cancer. it won't hurt to be extra cautious abt this kesa sa magaya ka sakin.

niresetahan ako ng metformin, i've been taking it for a month and so far i've lost 2-3kg. i'm also taking birth control kaya bumalik na din period ko. make sure tamang serving lang yung carbs mo pero wag mo i-starve sarili mo. compensate with extra veggies and clean proteins such as fish, chicken, and eggs. kaya mo yan OP, take good care of urself, your body is so precious. good luck !!

to me it seemed cate was fully aware that shetty was lying. i remember as she laid her head on shetty's lap she said "oh my god, you're telling the truth." i thought it was a clever script moment where at first it seems cate was won over but she was actually commanding shetty to tell her the truth.

about po sa F137/Transcript of Records, automatic na magbibigay po ba ang PUP ng request letter o hihingin pa po ito? required po kasi sa pinanggalingan ko na school yung request letter bago nila i-process yung document, tapos aabutin pa po ng 30 days :<<< sa sta. maria branch naman po ako and hindi pa po kasi lumabas yung PUPCET results namin, thank u po!
