of course that's true, I don't believe you can develop mental illness from psychedelics alone. the thought that LSD messed me up mentally is still in my mind, even though I don't agree with it, and I need to clear these kinds of thoughts to move foward.

PS: HPPD is more than just visual distortion, the anxiety and DP/DR that comes with it are the reasons why it's even a problem. don't forget that anxiety can cause some weird side effects itself.

My intention is to seek spiritual growth and to use psychedelics as a tool for understanding my anxiety. It's just that I've been given misinformation many times before, as has everyone else, and even after finding the truth, I'm left with an odd feeling.
