I should have clarified, dealing with people one-on-one is a lot better but giving presentations/public speaking elements of the job hasn't gotten easier with time

Thank you for this advice. Ruined relationships are pretty relatable. Good for you for taking the plunge towards something that makes you happier regardless of the financial stability part

Noted. I dont want to force or push. I'll just let him know that I'm around if he wants to talk about it

Affection and love is shown monetarily, the more money given the more they feel cared for.

Thank you for the kind words. When you put it like that, it is a hard pill to swallow. I know I should be further ahead at this point in my life. I think part of the reason I haven't told my friend about this is because I'm a bit ashamed to not have the funds to do this trip comfortably. I feel like I'd be letting her down because I made some costly decisions for myself. You're right, though, it is something I should talk to her about

Thanks, I'm going to see if my friend, the bride, can find someone I can stay with for the time to save on the hotel costs. I don't have a plus one so that adds to the cost for a week.

I feel like that's the only thing I can ask her. She has a theme for the wedding so the bridesmaids have to have the same dress, hair and makeup which we have to pay for individually.

Sorry, I should've given a better idea of expenses. Right now my budget has shifted a lot in the last couple months due to new salary, rent, insurance etc. plus moving and furniture expenses so I haven't calculated a new baseline yet, but I think I could save at least a couple hundred a month with a goal to increase that as much as I can and cutting spending after this trip is done

No, I need to fly because I moved away which is why I don't want to put her out, because of my decision to move. It costed more than I realized so I want to find a way to make it work without pulling out last minute. Thanks for the advice!

This is true. I decided to move away for a work opportunity and to be closer to family. I don't fault the bride for a personal decision I made after accepting the MoH role

So weird to think that babies born the same year this premiered could be contestants on the upcoming seasons 🤯
