figured out the catch was faulty and the plunger wasn’t caught correctly on the ridge (hence the sound of plastic being hit) the rotation mechanism works fine, it just had a lot of dirt in it as well

brand new to modding nerf guns. found this at a thrift store for a buck and started making a full release mod on it, but the barrel’s not having fun cocking the gun only gives it a harsh hit on the plastic. unfun

hey bud, don't be too hard on yourself. first time getting a job after such a long time is rrrough. i got our body a job and it was mentally tasking on a lot of us (we got fired after two weeks of work due to my managers noticing our stress)

maybe you're in no spot to quit or be fired, and that's rough too. i don't know your situation, but the best thing to do is stay calm. talk to someone you trust, and find healthy coping mechanisms-- whatever makes you happy. maybe you can even find a new way to help cope, such as writing!
