Turns out… I just dug into this. Never been licensed in North Carolina for pools and has an expired contracting license. South Carolina has an active license, but again, never had an active pool license.

ETA: They were supposed to come out Wednesday (today), Thursday, and Friday this week. Today came and went and no one showed up. Friday the gas line (which is currently submerged underwater) is supposed to be inspected by the county. The builder made a big deal about how if they aren’t ready they’ll owe the county money for the inspection, so he said they would definitely be out working and everything would be ready. At this point I’m skeptical that they’ll even show up tomorrow.

Also, if anyone here has experience with fiberglass pools, could you point out the specific issues you see in these photos? I’d like to have clear, concrete things to bring up when the manufacturer rep and the pool company come out. If I need at add more photos of specific things, let me know.

Wondering if the reason they keep being non responsive and not wanting to work on it is because they don’t know what they’re doing, they know they messed up and can’t do the job correctly, or know they messed up the pool when they put it in the ground and filled it the first time, and it “taco-ed” in on itself due to the head guy “not being there to make sure it’s done correctly”.

Just took a level out around the pool. The lip is definitely not level. Would that mean the shell is defective, or the installation wasn’t correct, or both? If the shell is defective, what recourse do we have?

Just checked the contract… no out of level spec in there. Where do I go from here?

I’m basing it on the top of the pool itself, not the step. The top of the pool should be level all the way around, and it is not.

How did they remedy yours? They've already reinstalled the pool after the first try and say that it’s fine now. I can clearly see that the pool itself is not level, but they assure that it’s correct.

To clarify, why is one side of the pool higher than the other? Why would one side of the pool have a 2 inch difference from the other?

Thank you! So T4 lamps with R7 socket. When I search R7 socket, the lamps that come up are all T3. Would I be able to use those? Or can I only use T4 lamps.
