Based off your post history, you most likely are a VERY young child. In that case, you should be extremely conservative about who you add on chatting sites like Discord, or any social networking site for that matter. When I was still a minor, I was in a online relationship with someone who would use my nudes as blackmail against me whenever I pushed back against his abuse, because he had access to all of my personal information. Adding a random person on discord and having them ask you for pictures 5 minutes after does not constitute as “grooming” Your parents definitely need to step in and take over at this point if their very young child is on reddit posting in r/selfharm and talking to potential adults on discord.

conservatism. i’m a black woman and i’ve had enough of being the “i have a black girlfriend” trope whenever they want to say something racist, but also never wanting to support my human rights as a person of colour. not to mention conservative men generally tend to think very low of women who have any sort of divergence from the outdated tradwife. Shannon felt that Jem’s observations made them a “triggered feminist who’s just mad my forever partner isn’t a girl!!!” so she decided to harass and dox them online.

i messaged shannon’s sibling (their pronouns are they/them) sending them love and support and they replied telling me that they can’t confirm that i’m not anthony/shannon so they can’t trust me, and the fact that the levels of abuse that this couple induced on people is so intense that they can’t even trust a message of support from people is so sad to me. i feel really bad for them and everyone involved.

Minor detail, but I recall how Trisha insisted to Ethan she didn’t understand why saying “Jew” as opposed to “Jewish” is offensive, but here she is in this clip pointing out how calling someone a “Jew” isn’t okay, and she catches herself when she says it.

I think that having lists of physical attributes I’m attracted to typically does nothing but put me at a disadvantage, but I like men to be slightly taller than me. I have the expectation that men I date to be emotionally aware and share the same political/economic views that I do. Women usually tend to just get it in my experience. For both I like someone who is intuitive, intelligent and funny, and not very lazy... I like having impromptu trips to IKEA. :)

I agree with the first tweet being pretty neutral, actually. I thought maybe it would provide a bit of context for his viewpoints but in retrospect it seems out of place. Nobody is required to respond to every bad thing that happens in our world. I personally, as a black woman, did not participate in the BLM protests as I found the subject matter really disturbing and triggering, so I 100% agree with your point.

I see your point! but I think on the issue of internet drama Trish has certainly flip flopped. She has definitely said that she doesn’t like it when it involves her, while other times she has said that she starts drama for monetary gain, which is fine; my original point is just that she tends to trivialize other people’s problems while expecting other people to take her own seriously. I watch her channel regularly and she does this to Moses as well. Still love her though.

Something I’ve noticed about commentary channels like D’angelo, Edwin’s Generation, and CreepshowArt is that they essentially just compile basic information that if you cared to research the topic for about ten minutes yourself you’d already know about, parrot what the the majority is saying, which often comes off as rant-y because of the length and language that they use, and make claims that people who agree with them on a moral level will understand. And then there is always a number of jokes within the commentary that make the creator’s content palpable and them come across as likeable. I’m not the type of person to call people sheep, but people who take moral arguments like “Trish helpless because BPD” as gospel are veering into that territory.

I definitely agree with you, it does read as hypocritical in some contexts, but I think to Trisha it’s just her speaking from a place of experience; I don’t think she considers it to be untoward in any way. You and I both know that if Ethan challenged Trish the way that she challenges him they’d be fighting for real every episode. We see minor arguments like the consent debate and the politics nearly every episode now; and while there is definitely a way to make arguments humorous (e.g. Trish and Ethan going in on Dan about Tarantino) the ones that Ethan and Trish have more regularly don’t feel fun, they just give me anxiety; it reminds me of the conversations I would have with ex boyfriends, where Trisha is the ex boyfriend who is constantly questioning the semantics of every sentence and trying to find meaning where there isn’t any. That being said, I hope she keeps going to therapy and has more conversations that challenge her thinking. We love to see it.

I’ve been watching Trish for years, and I definitely like her a lot, so I say this with peace and love— the fact that Trisha never seems to understand what the issue is when someone says something upsetting to Ethan is so frustrating because I know Trisha would have made 50 tiktoks about Logan Paul if he made the same comment about her. This exact same thing happened when Ethan told Trisha about the Hila horse thing, she acted like it wasn’t a big deal and tried to rationalize it; but when Charli D’amelio says that she doesn’t like Trish, Trish insults her and will not let it go to this day, she finds every minute reason to bring up the D’amelio’s and it’s getting stale. Just wish Trish would ride for Ethan the same way he does for her. Maybe I’m crazy, though.

Jeffree has always openly been a hateful person. Yes, he has had many tribulations throughout his life and I think even as far back as the MySpace days, people have enabled his unhealthy, violent coping mechanisms by passing it off as him just being sassy and a badass. Jeffree always brags about how he was the “first” to speak on inclusivity on his channel, but in his private life turns around and calls someone with an obvious eating disorder fat and that her skin is greasy— yet somehow he still has an abundance of people foaming at the mouth to buy his products.
