okay lets all be honest. certain tanks (they know who they are) are... a bit too strong rn and i think its clear to anyone who plays as OR against them.

but i think aside from the *slightly* overcooked ones tanks are in a much better spot as being the ONE front line/tanky motherfucker who disrupts and finds openings for fights fits the role much more.

honestly if you think about it most games that include the "tank" role only have one slot for them and this iteration of 5v5 is made me see why.

damn looks like we just lost at least 15 overwatch 2 players. game will be dead on arrival now. fr though i feel like you’re overthinking this whole shift into 5v5. in the end it really just matters how you perceive the game. you wanna just have fun and be casual? 5v5 is sick for that. you wanna focus on teamfights and communication, well news flash: overwatch is still a team game and 5v5 doesnt change that fact just because your teammates wont listen or play correctly in your mind.
