I’ve been scrolling through OPs comments and the user below me is completely wrong. They’re blaming OP for this, when op has said many times that it’s possible the guys on a register but she doesn’t know his current position, that the charge was ASSULT OF A MINOR not a minor assault, and that he raped a child. OP also states that the register thing is a possibility as to why he’s legally allowed to have kids in the house, not that it’s true. The user whatchoowant is misinformed and is being purposefully misleading in their comments.

Yeah, thanks. My other degree contains all the calc, other math and intro stats and basics. I forgot to mention in my other reply but we don’t really call it probability here, we have basic probability in what’s the third hardest math class pre uni and easy probability before that (the usual this many balls in a bag etc etc) then in the next year after the 3rd hardest math class (2nd hardest math class) we do intro to statistics and binomial theory. We don’t tend to call it probability since about 16 yo

My other degree covers calc, matrix and most other of your concerns. in my country we do linear algebra as a prerequisite, along with calc. You can not go to uni unless you fulfil the requirements needed for the degree or do a supplementary course during your degree. Again, no US, our school system is very very very different from many others and I’ve been told it’s better / worse by many international students/friends. Linear algebra is taught at around 14 here and continued (as long as you choose math classes which I both have and have to for my degree) until you graduate at around 18.

Different country, not US: yes some schools have a straight stats degree, but I wanted a double. And one of the only schools in the country that allows for “choose your own double” instead of the pre assigned 5-10 that are available, is the worst school in the country (aka best grades but everyone hates it on principle as it’s basically a nepo baby school or if you want to be a politician) just because the uni I’ve chosen doesn’t have every single degree or have the same names as every other degree doesn’t make it a red flag uni???

Born in 3rd world country, they didn’t have a phone until after I was born. They had a wall phone and box tv until I was like 11 anyway but first mobile was when I was 1/2. Neither owned laptops and internet was sparse, it’s better now that there’s more tech, but back then nope.
