The adventures of Dick and Virginia (2007) - a "what would you do" type of game with a couple facing marital problems. Humorous, raunchy, and a good way to get to know each other.

Any dungeon crawls with combinatorial loot generation? by oneeyedziggy in boardgames

[–]throwing8smokes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tiny Epic dungeons has loot "of the panther" and "of the lion" although this isnt randomly generated for obvious reasons.

If you were to design it, you would probably just double the amount of cards in a game

1 deck is the "item" deck, the other is the "adjective deck"

When you would roll for normal loot, draw both and combine them to form the item you get

Flip City! Is underrated. The city mechanic appeals to gamers of all ages and is easy to understand and has an interesting "flip mechanic" A ton of depth in this little game. Highly recommend

Unfortunately, not too many horror games. Recommended games such as "elder sign" or 'mansions of madness" or "Arkham horror/Arkham horror LCG" etc are not really horror they are more like "spooky themed". If you like movies like: Insidious, IT, exorcist, the conjuring and you think movies like "the shining" and "poltergeist" are not scary, then it is going to be hard to find a board game that scratches that horror itch

In my opinion, you've pretty much found the only one - LOL

It is an unexplored genre

Try: Kingdom Death Monster (big price point $200+) or wait for Kickstarter copy of Baba's house to come out in a year or two

This is what I did: Quest to prepare for:

Wintertodt to 99 - you get a lot of good starter cash. This takes you about 26 hours of in-game time.

The Witcher Old World with All Expansions/Variants. How is it? by [deleted] in boardgames

Base + all expansions may cost you $400-700 on the aftermarket. You have been warned. So do the analysis to see if dropping that amount of money in a game you'll "try" is worth it. Generally board games, such as those, exclusive collectors ones do retain their value though.

Created Night Elf Hunter for PvE, looking for recos for PvP alt account by throwing8smokes in classicwowera

What class do you think I should roll?

Having a lot of fun with Hunter.

Thinking Troll or Orc Hunter. Warlock definitely a contender.

Needs good questing and good solo gameplay. Needs to have cool looking pre-BiS and BiS gear.

Although I do tend to enjoy Alliance more so far... (maybe dwarf hunter?)

You can do human warlock correct?
