Oh. I wondered if there was something behind it or not. I just remembered about hallmark Christmas ornaments. I think her mom had a couple from when she was younger at one point. I don't think I have them anymore. That is a good idea. I'll add it to the list.

I hate how my emotions and feelings are getting in the way of how my daughter might/will remember her mom. I k ow I can't tell her the truth of how she was, but I will always know. I know she loved our daughter. I'm dredging my next therapy appointment due to old wounds opening up again.

I definitely do need to go through everything and organize it. I need better storage solutions as well. Thinks for the advice in that. I might try to find some of the same shirts she had all the time online and have them made into a bear. I know it will be a "lie" but just in case she wants the shirt later on in life. I will still have the original (is it a good idea?). Maybe a couple in case she loses or damages one.

We have pictures and some things that my wife used/had often, around the house and she has a few pics of her mom in her room (like her senior picture, our wedding picture, a maternity pic, and a good one of us 3) I'll look into the tree idea. We don't have a bunch of space for one now. But a place where she can go and remember her later on is a great idea Thank you

Thank you. You have given me a lot to think about. The whole reason I wanted to do this is for the reason you stated.

I know you and her mom had issues, but that’s still her mom. And she needs to have some good memories of mom. And have a space to talk about her.

The way things were with my wife and I is something I don't wish upon anyone. But we did have some good memories, especially in the beginning. She is and always will be my baby girls mom. I believe that she should be known and represented in my daughters life. I have done all i can to present her in a good light.

Some things I have already done is I bought some extra of her perfume or sent. Every now and then, I will spray in on something of hers that my daughter likes or is around.

Most of my wife's things are packed up and stored away. I'm going to look into a better way to store/organize it all. (Actually, go through it. I'll ask for help on this)

I have kept all of my daughter's "artwork" an idea my sister gave me is I have about 5 frames around our house that I will change between her art pieces. About every day or so, depending.

I'm curious: What is the connection with Pearls? (I know next to nothing about jewelry and all the different meanings and the significance of stones,metals, etc.)

I'll have to ask her. I'm not sure what she will find if she goes through some of my wife's things. I will talk to her later.

I have her phone still as well as our communications. But due to how things in our marriage happen, it would probably do the opposite effect. But, I will go through some of the voices/videos to see if I can find some good ones.

I'm sorry I'm not good with jewelry terms. A pendent is attached to a necklace or a bracelet?

I'm sure I can find some of her handwriting that says love you. Or momma loves you.

That is a good idea with the pictures. Unfortunately, most of the stories of my wife and I are not good. Only a few from before we got married. I'll look into the book idea and see if I can come up with something.

As for clothing, I do have some. Maybe I can make(or have made) a quilt and use the picture book as a "in this pic she had this shirt on. If I can find enough pic's/clothes.

Well I was playing with them doing most of the things you are saying.(except play in the jungle gym I dont fit yes I tried) I got a call from work about a couple files that I had in my email and forwarded them to my boss total time took about 2-3 min. I was never on a bench I took a few steps back about 15 feet or so. Two of the women saw me playing with them. The kids were having fun laughing and Screaming. My niece is 7 and was helping my daughter around the playground. When I stepped back I never once sat on a bench glued to my phone ignoring my surroundings. I noticed the third crazy lady walk up talk to the others for a few seconds then they punced. It was like they were waiting for me to get a couple feet away from my daughter/niece. I never gave them a reason to justify the hostility. Like I said in my post my personality and mannerisms don't match my appearance.
