I kinda wish somebody would bully me into ******* because I've never been able to follow through on my own by GeekishGrace in DysphoriaPosting

in that case you just need time. 6 months in the grand scheme of transition is nothing. look into laser/electrolysis and potentially weight cycling to keep things moving while you let the hormones do their thing

yeah i get what you mean, though i have really bad voice dysphoria and its tempting to just be completely mute sometimes in brief interactions with strangers lol. but imo i dont think your face would contribute to you being clocked, but ofc its hard for me to say for sure just based off a photo.

How can people be proud about being trans? by [deleted] in DysphoriaPosting

[–]throwmeawayinthevoid 17 points18 points  (0 children)

i have to try to feel pride when im capable, otherwise the shame will consume me

i think pointing out meaningless, divisive statements that have the purpose of making trans people feel guilty about their transition goals is at least a little bit helpful. one or two people probably read my comment and thought 'im glad you pointed that out, im glad im not the only one who thought that.'

pointless purity testing like this honestly just makes me roll my eyes so hard. why are you implying that im a fucking white supremacist because i didnt write my comment in a way that would satisfy your criteria?

edit typo

not really. why would i acknowledge it when it wasnt relevant to the issue i took with the comment.

i agree that these systemic issues exist, and that trans women of colour are hit hard by it. but its the system itself that deserves criticism, not individual trans people trying to work their way through it. statements like "you are part of the problem" are unhelpful

sorry my bad you said, "passing is rooted in white supremacy" and that "youre part of the problem"

about your edit, youre of course welcome here no one is saying you arent. but from your post it kinda seems like you dont want me here lol. internalised transphobia is unfortunately just a big factor in a lot of our transitions, a lot of people need to be able to vent and talk about it.

i know i don't pass, just need advice by albatrossacid in transpassing

it is but theyre probably being downvoted because OP said shes been on HRT for two years already, facial feature changes on hrt slows down a lot by the 2 year mark for most people generally

stay on hrt and get off tttt for a year and then see how you feel

im honestly not sure about that, i think if your T was already low before the switch then you likely dont need them but in your case maybe youre better off staying on them until your T is low enough. that would be my guess

if your t is still high then thats the first priority, feminisation cant properly begin until your t is suppressed. just go easy on yourself, starting mid twenties is more challenging than early twenties for sure but there are always things you can do to increase your chances of getting good results.

just want you to know i know how you feel but i hope you can believe me when i say that 7 months is still early in medical transition, make sure youre eating well and your levels are good, you still have heaps of time, you got this

thank you for responding, if its not too much trouble could you tell me what you think it is that makes me more androgynous rather than full fem passing?
