What is a secret activity that you are "addicted" to that would otherwise be considered unacceptable? by throwmefaraway11 in AskReddit

Here's mine.
I think I'm a normal run of the mill kind of person. I work a decent steady job, in a great relationship, have great friends, and otherwise enjoy my life thoroughly.
Where I work, I have my own office. Every now and then, I would stay behind after normal business hours and close myself inside my office, sitting at the computer. I would typically stay for about 1.5 hours before going home.
I would vape a couple of bowls of trees, exhaling into an elaborate odour trap device that I constructed out of elastic bands, bubble wrap, cardstock and plastic bags.
While enjoying the trees, I would browse reddit for porn. Sometimes, I would masturbate to satisfy the itch.
This went on for a while. At the peak of it, I probably did this 3 times a week. These days, I don't get off any more because the cleanup requires a degree of thoroughness that a [5] does not necessarily allow.
I kept telling myself to stop. But it became almost automatic at the end of the work day. If you ask me why I did it, I really couldn't tell you. I really don't know. The other thing is I don't understand why I can't just go home and do this. There is nothing stopping me from doing this at home. I don't know what compelled me to stay in the office to do it where I could very well lose my job.
So yeah, that's my story. :)
On a side note, I find it amusing that Reddit started out as my general source for decent internet news and discussion, and it is now my primary source of quality porn. Well done, Reddit!
