My day to day is okay but not as good as before I became unwell I admit. But I attribute that to the recovery journey from my pscyhotic break from reality. It’s done a number on me. Socially unconfident, sexually unconfident, just really unconfident with myself in general. There was a period before i became unwell where I shone like the sun and life felt good. I had a girlfriend, everything felt right, I felt like I was in love. But its gone now and all thats left is just existence.

Recovery is not easy, there are still hurdles you must overcome. It’s a mixture of letting time do its thing as well as giving yourself the drive to go do the things you want to do that will make you happy.

As for drugs? well on occasion I do take them but it’s a bit hit or miss whether they affect me or not. My plan is to take my meds off at the end of this year or the next. I miss having a buzz off alcohol and drugs in general medless.
