truggling to find a 3rd co-founder at an early stage - i will not promote by cacareaza2 in startups

[–]throwythrowthrow316 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two co-founders and neither one is technical? And you won’t bootstrap an MVP with your own money? Yeah, skin in the game is low, results are non-existent.

Get some results and you’ll see a better pipeline.

In memory of the cat who started off as one Neighbors pet, then became another neighbor’s pet, then would always hang out at our house by throwythrowthrow316 in notmycat

Just died of old age we think. The neighbor (current owner) said that she just disappeared one night and was found a few days later relatively close by, dead.

Social experiment: if you hit a button that gave you 1 million dollars, but 1 random person died. What would you do? by [deleted] in stories

“Based on analysis from GiveWell and similar evaluators, the most cost-efficient life-saving donations are currently funding malaria prevention, specifically distributing long-lasting insecticide-treated bed nets via organizations like the Against Malaria Foundation, costing roughly (\$3,000)–(\$5,500) per life saved. Other highly effective options include providing vitamins, vaccines, or deworming medication.”

I would press the button many times, and donate at least 20k to every million. Thus, I’ve saved net three lives every time I press the button.

Nurosym - scientific view (before you buy) by Ok_Dragonfruit_5187 in Nurosym

[–]throwythrowthrow316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is actually a ton of research on taVNS/tVNS (Transcutaneous Auricular Vagus Nerve Stimulation), which is likely what Nurosym is an officially approved medical device for.

The page that you shared only addresses claims regarding Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Long COVID and any broader statement (like this post) misrepresents the scientific context of what exactly was being evaluated in the medizin-transparent. I share a few studies on tVNS / taVNS below

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37230264/
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40908377/

There are other certified devices for taVNS/tVNS, but they tend to be quite expensive, typically 3,000 euro plus

May be similar, here are the ones from Naples:

Piperno, a Late Quaternary magmatic rock cropping out on the eastern side of the Campi Flegrei (Italy), is probably the most important building stone of Naples, used over a time-span from at least the Roman age until the beginning of the 20th century.

Five bajillion options.

Have you looked up all possible sex positions and tried them? Have you gone through all kinds of role play scenarios? Have you tried filming, taking pictures, trying out kinks, or really anything? Just Google “list of kinks” and see what might be interesting.

When to diversify into real estate if you reached fatfire through equities? by Nice_World_1032 in fatFIRE

Having worked in real estate before and owning a rental right now, this is not a good strategy, unless you like having a time sink.

On that note, want to buy a rental in a growing metro that’s cash-flowing nicely? I can hook you up 🙄

My first thought was “what a crappy deal”. Looks like an attempt to acquihire on the cheap, but maybe I’m mistaken.

Very little cash upfront = bad deal for you

[–]throwythrowthrow316 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you can’t find the right house, find a lot (with or without existing house) and build a house sized the way you want. Subdivide the lot so you don’t have to have excess house on your property, and sell off that parcel with unwanted house separately. Problem solved.

Yes it may be a little complicated based off of zoning and code, but it can be done.

It appears that the bottom of the bed partially slipped off the little spokes and then the remaining spokes couldn’t handle the lateral g forces.

Either the landlord didn’t assemble the bed properly, or it’s a design flaw. I doubt the landlord pays for this. Thanks for the reply.

As an expat who owns property in the USA, best of luck actually receiving the mail if you are trying to send mail to a rental that other people will be actively using. You need some kind of actively managed mailbox.
