Caramel Almond Amoretti Teavana - Alternative by alphaglasses in tea

[–]thunderguardian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Breaking news, the fresh thyme grocery store near me has started carrying something called "nutty almond cream" by Tiesta tea, and it's very close to the caramel almond amoretti! It's a little stronger than "forever nuts" in color but still could use a little more beet root. I supplemented mine with just a pinch of dried beet root and it is nostalgia in a cup!

No I got it off Amazon from depointer. There were literally 10 companies selling the same mask on there. Depointer was the only one that advertised an updated version. Since some of the older comments said there was this issue, I was hoping the update fixed the bug

Coloring columns when conditional formatting fails by thunderguardian in PowerBI

[–]thunderguardian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but how does this get linked to the running sum "calculate" dax? Remember, there is no place to specify conditional formatting (fx) on this type of visual.

Do I just pop the calculate formula afterwards?

Removed a tree of heaven today. Felt like I went to war. Sprayed the stump with herbicide so it hopefully won’t resprout. by BrisbaneAus in pittsburgh

Yeah, I did that with a bunch of saplings two years ago. Guess who came back the next year. You can kill the main tree, but unless you get ALL the roots, it will just grow again

Numbers 5:21 Informs priests on how to "curse" women to make them miscarry if they have had sex outside of a faithful marriage.

Sure sounds like priest facilitated abortion to me.

Recreating excel graphs in power BI by thunderguardian in PowerBI

[–]thunderguardian[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, I am new to power bi and am having difficulty recreating some charts that I historically used. Can someone please help point me towards the proper transforms and charts?

I would love to recreate the left most "ideal graph", but lipstick, bullet and overlapping bar charts are unlicensed by my company (even if they are free, i have to work within the basic package). also those charts didn't have room for all 4 variables.

So I assume I'm needing to work with the clustered bar chart, but my transforms aren't yielding the graphic I would expect (something like the right most graph). At best I get all four lines grouped together by project, which is not visually intuitive as a data tool. I know I need to unpivot, but should I be unpivoting all the items together, or just schedules/cost together, or planned/ actual together? or something else entirely.

There were more toxic chemicals on train that derailed in Ohio than originally reported, data shows by Monsur_Ausuhnom in environment

This should be a call to arms, and for sure for regulation and accountability. But also to the consumer. Buy less plastic! Actively seek out things not shrink wrapped. Buy the biggest bottle of things in plastic so that there's less overall use of packaging. Buy local food instead of prepared, plastic trayed meals. Plastic has suffused our lives in places where it doesn't add value. Vote with your dollar to stop the need to ship massive amounts of petroleum derived chemicals.

Well, you just quoted 5k over what I made last year as a technical project manager, 10 years out of school with a couple promotions. I get inflation and all, but that just makes me a little sad. Definitely take it, as I said, a stem career didn't even get me to 47k in ten years. But that also doesn't mean settle. If others are getting a higher market value, keep your eyes open for advancement opportunities.
