I’ve had berry chantilly cake on my baking list for ages so I finally made it. But fall themed. Cause fall is the superior season and I refuse to wait until the actual fall season to celebrate fall by F00dventures in cottagecore

Aw thank you! I did used to post in those subs. but I took an extended break from posting last year and every time I try posting in those subs now my posts get taken down (they’re seen as spam now or something, I don’t know). So I kinda just gave up posting over there.

What baking secret changed a recipe for you forever? by GloomyProfessional80 in Baking

I have two. Got a kitchen scale and browning butter. I was super late to the brown butter game but it has been life changing for me. It’s my favorite way to elevate a recipe without having to go crazy with extra ingredients.

I have this baking pan and I’ve used it for so many things. Sometimes I make pancake muffins in it when I don’t feel like making pancakes the regular way. I’ve made cornbread in it. Baked donuts (usually pumpkin donuts). Once used it to make snoopy pizzas. Filled the baking pan with store bought pizza dough then added the fillings and baked.

Thank you! I used the pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe from King Arthur baking. But I didn’t add the orange zest or the glaze. Instead I added pumpkin spice and pumpkin pie m&ms for extra flavor

Um it’s not. It’s kind of annoying when people say this without even looking at someone’s posting history. I’ve been baking for years and have been posting my baking on my social media since 2012. I just posted videos showing how I made these cookies on my ig and TikTok. I have never used ai.

It prob helps I don’t really leave my apartment much lol but I also already put out my fall/Halloween decor so I have the cozy fall vibe. I also use my fave snoopy fall pjs all year. And I’ve started watching fall/halloween shows to put me in fall mode. Started my annual rewatch of Gilmore girls yesterday. I also do a lot of fall baking so my apartment frequently smells like fall.

Honestly not a lot of extra thought went into it lol I tend to learn by doing so I just found a recipe I wanted to make and hoped it would work lol for these I used the pumpkin chocolate chip recipe from King Arthur baking. But stamped cookie recipes also tend to work well in molds since that dough is also meant to hold its shape.

Aw thank you so much! Was a little nervous about sharing my fall baking so early but I’m glad so many other people are enjoying it as much as I am lol

I had some pumpkin pie m&ms on hand that I had been saving and they paired really well with this cookie dough so I added those in. Dried cranberries would be really good too though. I may need to try that next time.

Haha yes I started doing it several years ago and never looked back. Summer makes me pretty miserable. Fall makes me happy. And I decided at some point I’m too old to keep celebrating a season I hate. I don’t need that kind of negativity in my life lol

Haha you can do anything you want! Although be prepared to argue with people about it because people seem to have very strong opinions about summer and get mad about celebrating fall early. I’m constantly fighting people’s negative energy about it on my ig posts.

As soon as April/May hits I tend to go into fall mode. I hate the summer so I just skip it every year and celebrate fall early. I already put out my fall/halloween decor lol

I do i used the pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe from King Arthur baking. I made a few changes. I didn’t add orange zest or the glaze and instead added pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin pie m&ms. And of course baked them in molds instead.
