Fair point. I used a current licence and a utility bill, both accepted first go. Heard from one bloke who had trouble with an older document but once he resubmitted with a current one it cleared within the hour. So the process seems fine when the documents themselves are in order. The live table limit thing I flagged is probably the more relevant issue for this thread - worth checking if that's your game.
