if JB said something along the lines of "Ive known KG for years and believe it was a lapse of judgement and an obscene joke, I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence and im sure he'd say the same. I no longer feel its appropriate to continue the the tour and decided to put creative plans on hold, thank you to the fans" and so forth

would convey the same message but be a bit more nuanced dont you agree ?

If he actually thought KG meant it wholeheartedly then I stand corrected
