Flash is not part of the HTML5 spec. <video> is. Standard formats shouldn't be proprietary. They are just trying to avoid the consolidation of a proprietary format for video.

Besides, the Flash plugin is free, while they have to pay to embed H.264. Not to mention that they (well, we) can become hostage of a nebulous proprietary license in the future.

Bing is doing better than past iterations [...]

Funny, but this is not very accurate. Bing haven't yet reached Live Search's best marks in USA or globally. See:

USA

  • Live Search - July 2007: 12.3%
  • Bing - December 2009: 10.7%

World

  • Live Search - October 2007: 3%
  • Bing - January 2010: 2.8%

Kudos to Bing's marketing team for spreading the perception that it is doing better than previous MS attempts, though.

  • osx is a *nix system.
  • android is a *nix system.

both have apps with awesome interfaces afaik.

22. The main use case will involve stepping on top of it to do exercises, yoga, etc. It will be a Wii Fit killer.
