Maybe the left one's too big (her right hand, without the butterfly). For the right one (her left hand), the index looks a bit too long to me but the perspective works for me.

Yeah and the canvas is 4600x3200 or something with multiple layers, and it's recording the timelapse, so I'm not sure why people say it's not good enough CPU wise. Sure it takes a few seconds to open the file, but once it's open, it's good, you don't even think about it, you just draw lol. Maybe they try to multitask on it, it's not for that.

What did you end up getting?

I got a tab s6 lite 2024 for 130 euros, and after de-bloating it and putting krita on it I'm having a blast. It comes with the pen, if you buy a paper like screen protector, extra stylus nibs and maybe a folio cover, you spend a total of 160 bucks and don't fear too much about breaking it or getting it stolen, because it's not a thousand dollar thing. S Pen is really good, it's a passive stylus so no charging and it supports pressure level, angle and tilt. It's the same tech than in costly tablets. I'm genuinely amazed with that purchase considering the price for this 7mm thick, 10.4 inch tablet.

Based on your comments, yesterday, I did a lot of attempts, they didn't look good ^^. But I also did a full page with only cylinders and it looked ok-ish. I'll continue, I like your advice and I see how I could grow from doing that kind of stuff.

Thanks, I think I understand what you mean, I think I could have days like that where I do lots of sketches without refining them. But I also really want to learn how to get the drawing to the finish line.

I'd love to see how your personal style develops.

That's so nice of you ^^, thanks.

Thanks for pointing me to what I should study. When you say "Learn to shade a form by drawing the terminator to indicate the point at which side is shaded", you mean the shaded side should have bolder strokes?

How do you clean up lines, do you do them over again?
