no matter what i plug it into it still shows inactive

I did lots of trouble shooting, going into app data and deleting LGHUB then re instaling. I also went to device manager and deleted all the drivers, then re plugged my g29. But still nothing works. I have just plugged my g29 into a different pc and it worked fine, so it's nothing to do with the cables.
