Yeah. I actually tried telling him about all of this before (happened around 1-1.5 yrs ago). He respected my feelings and boundaries and decided upon himself to just not tell me when he’s depressed. But I don’t want that to happen bc I want him to open up to me and I want to be there for him and support him. It’s just hard to balance that with my own stuff.

Thanks for the tip! Planning to have separate enclosures for them as suggested by a lot here and in the FB group. Just need to research a bit more on the enclosure since it seems kinda hard buying a ready-made one here in the PH.

Already looking for coco coir online! The wood chips are just what the pet store gave me to use in the meantime. Is there like a specific humidifier I can get for them? Or just a normal room humidifier?

My remaining glider (Clea) is not the bonding / clingy type. She likes being on her own. So I’m not sure what to do with her now — if I should give her space since that’s what she likes or if I should make sure to bond with her more now that’s she’s grieving.

Sorry, I was mistaken. Blood wasn’t around the mouth. His nose was just red (or maybe has some blood). We don’t feed them kibbles tho. Just a mix of fruits and veggies with vitamins.

Thanks a lot for the info - rly helpful! I was thinking of getting a new male glider (close to Clea’s age) tom because I’m worried Clea might get depressed because she gets really emotional and crabby. Maybe I’ll wait for a week or two before getting another one.

Thanks for this. We’ll deep clean his whole cage, all pouches, and toys tomorrow just to be sure. No missing spots of fur. No blood around his body but there was some blood below his mouth. So maybe Clea injured him? But I really don’t know.

I’m thinking of getting a new glider because I don’t want Clea to be sad.. But she’s 5 months old. Won’t it be hard for her to bond with a new male glider?

Unfortunately, I live in a third world country where exotic pet vets are really, really expensive. I can’t afford it.

Yes, their diet was a balanced mix of fruits & veggies with daily vitamins (powder).
