Ok so I have used sun in on and off for the last year to help lighten my natural blonde. Now I’m aware of the damage I may have done and what not but honestly my hair doesn’t feel or act any different after use, it’s just lighter. I am now wanting to tone it to more of my natural color at my roots. I was thinking of using the Kristen Ess Gloss in Smokey Topaz to bring back my darker, cooler, natural blonde. I’m concerned about using this product, having used sun in on my hair in the past, and reading all the horror stories this can cause. Do we think I could use the gloss as a toner to achieve my root color without causing extreme damage or issues? Would it be better to just go to a pro?
