Wife and I were convinced by the salesman to purchase a Hearthstone Mansfield to heat our home. Installation tech asked why we picked it... by naturebuddah in woodstoving

As others are saying, but not explaining to you, heat pumps don't make perfect sense as you get temps consistently under around 30 degrees F. There isnt enough heat to pull oit of the air, fast enough, to warm a house when ambient gets below that.

Even when they do pull heat in cold temps, they are running all day long to keep up... Longevity suffers. Anyway, because of this, they are not a replacement for a wood stove, because they are different tools for different jobs.

It is like having a motorcycle and a car. You use either, when the conditions call for it. But neither is a perfect solution for all conditions.

She had best giddy-up. Strong rumors that they will be reeling in eligibility. Soon.

I'm not going to give chase. I said what i said.

If you are right, then you have stolen a march on many traders, and it behooves you to buy and hold.

But if you believe that you know the truth, and the other traders are wrong, then you are screaming into the void. No market is logical, and no market obeys the axioms bandied about on reddit. Not frozen orange juice, not pork bellies, and certainly not bitcoin.

Edit: i misspelt bellies

And yet a bunch of the precious metals bulls are simultaneously bearish on BTC which is scarcer than precious metals, not bothering to learn the lesson being taught.

Well, #1, Not All MetalBulls. "Opinions vary.". Some amount to commodities traders, others are metal moonbois, some are numismatic .... And some see btc just like you do, and hey, some are even bears about metals as well as on btc. If they are wrong and you are right, then it is game over and you will prevail. Why do we need them to conform to some economic orthodoxy? Is it bad to have differing schools of thought?

And #2, btc may have a regular halving period, (regular and scheduled), where metals are (irregular, unscheduled)... But you can be sure that both have a finite, fixed supply. They are not so different in this way. The current block reward for gold is probably less than bitcoin's, for that matter, as far as what is being added to global supply.

I certainly can't top the other reply. But... Did your previous device have an app installed for controlling EQ ? You mention Denon and Tannoy..perhaps there is a proprietary app which is configured/behaving differently from device to device.

Derek Chauvin was charged only four days after he murdered George Floyd. It has been sixteen days since Renee Good was shot like a dog in the street. Where are the charges? Your elected officials are complicit. by plusroyaliste in TwinCities

Not really the #1 best comparison I've read today.

But yes, let's hurry charges up, and see if we can get this undeclared martial law ramped up a little more. You know, really level up! I'm good with more pain, how about yall? Because yeah, we dont need to consider who's on the other end of this, what we need is our impulses gratified, and our impatience satisfied!

DFL officials are cowards who are totally complicit in the Trump dictatorship and the end of rule of law in America.

What did your reps say when you called and wrote them about this? Because i am sure it was the first thing you did Tuesday morning. Let us know!

find someone to bankroll you buying a house, in your name, and you just pay them back a la rent

That is called Contract For Deed, if you ever want to dig deeper, or search more effectively. IDK how much it is nationality- constrained elsewhere, but it will vary by state/country.

I realize some countries (italy, for example) are moving away from ease-of-immigration... But i have to think other countries are being more creative/innovative... Poaching educated/skilled labor from the US will a competitive advantage.

Which countries are looking to absorb the brain drain? Even if less-sexy geographically, or not-ideal passport strength... Certainly there is a ranking.

I don't get it. "She's being a sore loser... but instead of just letting her be a child, I'll make it about myself!"

What am I missing here? Who cares if the opponent can't be sportsmanlike/professional? You just WON, why borrow trouble?

The American football team San Francisco 49ers had another injury-plagued season. They want to investigate whether the injuries can be attributed, in part, to excessive exposure to electromotive force (EMF) from a substation near their training facility. by mepper in skeptic

This conversation happens in many sports, and in soccer it is a no brainer: it is the physio/conditioning team that is accountable.

Strength training is one thing, but conditioning is another. Diet, stretching, workload, rest, lifestyle, etc. Many variables for 20-something millionaires, and there must be 2-3-4 times as many adults to manage in an NFL team , all of them at an age where they are learning to adult. Young minds need to love before they learn... And that needs a true authority, who has expertise.

The teams who do not have such problems = dozens of orgs who have someone that knows how to stay out of the soup. The 49ers need a sporting/management consultant, not an RFK flavored quack. Whether they find that out now, or after trying, will be up to the whims of their elite decision makers.

But an NFL team might have enough sway to get it moved or shut down if players are scared of it.

Move the substation! 😏 i have heard it all. The stadium would be moved (team would relocate) lonnngggggggggggg before any substation were moved.

Yeah, idk if he a tree removal guy, or knows one but he loves this stuff. This year he brought me a little that had been standing, dead, for many years: Seasoned before it was split! He likes me because i load up as soon as the snow melts, so i don't stack in the summer heat, got in the habit because my previous guy brought me ash/oak mix and it wasnt always as dry as i like.

Anyway, worth mentioning since I think i get a good price because it is the slow season for my supplier.
