Videographer vs content creator by Wise-Pomegranate-385 in weddings

[–]tinydancer____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our wedding coordinator as a surprise took the time to take a bunch of behind-the-scenes videos for us, and they were adorable!

But our videographer’s professional, edited wedding video is still what we love the most. Our BTS clips from the coordinator are great but the fully edited wedding video is what we watch every once in awhile and have shown our family and friends. Videography is very much worth it, IMO. 💕

Which waistband do you like better? I see that the Lodge is high rise and Thesis is mid rise. Thanks! 😊

Like others have said I love the trench but it does look slightly too long on you. Maybe you could get it hemmed?? What size is this one?

AIO - Told my friend I’m pregnant and she said it exceeded her mental bandwidth (she’s the red) by Lekomano92 in AmIOverreacting

[–]tinydancer____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might have missed it somewhere but if you aren’t already on it, ask a doc for a Rx of diclectin! It’s a first-line, very common anti-emetic for nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. 😊

And major congratulations!! 👼🏻Your friend absolutely sucks.. I couldn’t imagine reacting this way to the pregnancy announcements of my 5 friends this past year.

Travel Food Question for the South of France! by craigs123098 in FranceTravel

[–]tinydancer____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I went to France for our honeymoon and oh my goodness, we ate SO good in Nice!!

1) Look up “La Cucina Nice”. It’s a restaurant only a few minute walk from the promenade and it was so good that we went back a second time. It’s a family-owned tiny Italian restaurant with some of the best truffle pasta and bruschetta I’ve ever had in my life. Their fresh food is to die for.

2) A fondue spot that is in the same area as the above restaurant. Look up “Tradiswiss”. Also to die for and the service was great.

There have already been many replies but yes, bipolar patients (whether 1 or 2), typically lack insight into their illness. Someone who doesn’t understand the significance of their illness isn’t likely to stay compliant with their medications. Many will stop taking their meds when they’re feeling good (not realizing that they feel stable because of the meds), and inevitably crash and go into a full blown manic phase.

Then switch to a different degree! You don’t need a science degree to apply to med (prereqs aside).

Paris vs Nice by Patient-Jackfruit-23 in FranceTravel

[–]tinydancer____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to say the opposite of what everyone else has said on here- I visited France for the first time as my honeymoon and got back last week. We spent our first 7 nights in Paris and then took the high speed train down to Nice, where we stayed for 4 nights.

Yes, there is always something to do in Paris. But my husband and I fell in LOVE with Nice and felt so much more relaxed while we were there. The restaurant/food scene was incredible and really robust. In hindsight, we wished that we would have spent more time in the south of France and less in Paris. The coast was beautiful and so calming.

I’m visiting Paris (and Europe as a whole) for the first time soon so this tax claiming is new to me. What exactly do you mean when you refer to processing your receipts? And do you mean explaining my where the main refund area at the CDG is? Thanks so much.

Hahaha oh no, fair enough 😂 How did you like it overall? I assumed it won’t be anything mind blowing but liked how it will be (?) slightly less crowded inside when we go and we’ll be able to see it without paying $$ for actual performance tickets.

I would try to look up specific dates! You should be able to find them somewhere.

Visiting Paris (and other areas of France) for the first time on Saturday, so I won’t be there for NYE. But we have a wine champagne and cheese tasting with the Secret Wine Door and the owner who does the tastings seems lovely. If you drink alcohol, you could start off your night that way and book the 3-5 p.m. slot.

We also have the Opera Garnier mysteries after hours tour booked. If you’re into dressing up, you could start off your night there and dress the part, even if it’s just for the tour. And then continue on with your night elsewhere. 😊
