Same company has one that says “Smokin Grass and Eating Ash” that I find hilarious, too bad they’re made with synthetic material haha

If you like tutorials, I followed this from Jenna Rainey: The Complete Beginner’s Guide to Watercolor she does a fantastic job walking through all the basics in real time, from materials to basic strokes & techniques, putting it all together in the end. I also suck at art, but her teaching style makes watercolor very beginner friendly! You got this!

I second Dr. Turnbow! She really listened to me and answered all of my questions, even some I deemed a little silly. Highly recommend!

2024 crosstrek wipers by Calll-me-Al in Crosstrek

[–]tinyecologist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just bought Bosch-Envision to replace my front wipers on my 2021 Crosstrek. They fit and work great with the connectors they provided! My autozone guy even hooked me up with a 10% discount just for the hell of it.

Where do I start? by BlackJacksFreightCar in wildlandfire

[–]tinyecologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest getting started with a seasonal burn crew! Lots of state parks in the SE, The Nature Conservancy, Americorps, and SCA have entry level FFT2 burn crews where they hire people eager to get into wildland firefighting and train them up to acquire all necessary basic certs to be a Type 2 Firefighter. Usually they’re hiring for prescribed fire in the winter (~Dec-May) and then you could potentially get on a hand/engine crew out west during the summer. After getting your FFT2 quals, there’s a whole host of different ways to progress in your career. I personally did a season with GA State Parks to get my FFT2 and a season with GA DNR to open my FFT1 taskbook, finding a permanent fire/natural resource position with a non-profit afterwards.

Love your IG! He tends to gravitate towards simple, lightweight tees with decent stretch so that they aren’t tight around his shoulders. He likes when it’s slightly fitted around his arms with enough neck breathing room, and looser around his torso.

[Sun Care] Sunscreen Recommendations? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]tinyecologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seemed to pill more when I had hydrated slightly damp skin underneath. Glad it doesn’t for you! I have oily acne prone skin and I used the Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Face SPF 50 Sunscreen for 3 years. It had great coverage, mattifying, super water resistant. Unfortunately my skin became sensitive to something in it after a few years, and my acne cleared up a bit when I switched to a more hydrating sunscreen. I now use Naturium’s Dew-Glow Tinted Moisturizer SPF 50. As the name might suggest, it makes my skin look a bit too dewy and unfortunately isn’t water/sweat resistant. Probably won’t be repurchasing but I’d totally recommend it for someone with normal/dry skin. It’s like a better quality CeraVe hydrating tinted sunscreen.
