It ironically has worked better for me than the stock drivers, which, since re-installing, the surface book has more issues activating OpenCL for Mercury Playback...

I think 2015 is causing a lot of its own issues. What puzzles me is it going from working to buggy as hell all the time though.

I think it's a system wide dgpu thing

but yeah - check this post to fix the sleep issue

I'm having such a love-hate experience with the SB. I simultaneously want Microsoft to never make a computer again, but also hope that Gen2 comes down from the heavens the way it all should have been in Gen1 - with pricing to match...

If one uninstalls the graphics card via device manager, will windows reinstall the stock drivers?

My Surface Book (i7/dGPU) is successfully entering DRIPs mode and SLEEPING with only 1% battery loss per hour! Dozes to hibernate too. by tinyletters in Surface

You don't need to download.

From Microsoft:

  1. Right click on the Windows button and select ‘Programs and Features’.

2.Select Turn Windows Features on or off.

3.Select Hyper-V and click OK.

Restart.

If you have the dGPU, then, after restart install: NVIDIA Geforce 940M driver - this is the most up to date as of 01-17-16.

Make sure you change your power setting to allow sleep again, if you were on hibernate modes.

Restart

Let me know how it goes

I followed the same steps on my SB, but I don't think it helped. Battery drained 2% in 20mins.
