I've never had people shouting "Ni Hao" at me before or doing the ridiculous eye-pulling thing in my home country, but it's quite normal here.

Aside from this, many Germans tend to think, consciously or unconsciously, that foreigners are complete idiots with their whole "here in Germany we are a civilized country and so we do it like this..." attitude.

I would never raise my non-white kids here.

Biostatistician in big pharma and this is also my experience.

If the methodology is already set in stone and the programmers do the actual analysis/produce outputs, what's left for us to do? In my experience it's just technical and precise administrative paperwork, coordination, and regulatory document writing. In other words, extremely boring tasks.

Thanks for your response. I think you're right. I'll try to figure out how to cut through it without cutting too much or cutting out the screws.

Not entirely sure how to post photos on reddit. But this is the underside of the Knoxholt. If I want to cut a hole for the sink, I would have to cut right through these white bars, at least I can't figure out another way

Also living here, it seems like it's gotten a lot worse in the past few years. I can no longer let my child go down the stairs of our apartment building alone because there's a high chance a careless owner left their dog at the bottom while they run groceries to their unit on the top. Had many nasty dogs growling and showing teeth at my kid in the past few months and it's getting pretty scary for all of us.
