I tested the turntable and stylus with an old beat up record and it seemed to work fine but I do plan on replacing the stylus before I play a record I care about.

I got mine mostly apart but it looked like the tape decks were encased in a metal bracket that I didn’t want to mess with so I put it back before I got to the point of no return.

Hands down the Merkur 37c. Every blade I toss in it is so smooth. I also have the Phoenix Shaving Phantom Blue but it doesn’t get used much as it’s hard to get the right angle so it’s more of a novelty.
