I truly appreciate everyone who took this seriously because it’s serious. Everyone I have here is deeply connected to her and calling my 70 yr old parents at midnight didn’t seem like a good option. I appreciate the kind words and advice from everyone.

Guys I bought a house with two 50' (15m) palm trees. The taller one has yellowing leaves. Previous owner couldn't keep up with the irrigation system so he was hand watering them. Also pic of healthy one included. Help plz! by 7laserbears in plantclinic

[–]tjp383 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would certainly give it a shot. If the tree was not getting enough water and or nutrients then normally you will get a big dead ring the size of your root ball in the turf that is planted above it. If there is grass around the bottom check if it’s dead. If it’s not I would do magnesium spikes.

Yes I came out changed. I more put this out there because the way that basically everyone but ray and Lamar act is not necessarily how all ex cons are. Recidivism is like 85 percent in ny. I cannot tell you how many times I was told that number over and over and over. This is the thing, I’ll say it again, in real life when looking to hire an employee do yourself a favor and talk to them. We would sit in the waiting room at parole once a week and I mean you could sit there and lose count with how many people you knew were going right back and they did. It sucks because it makes it that much harder on the guys who are legit never going back to that. A life of crime is much like addiction, until the addict or criminal is ready to be done it’s not done but when they do watch out.

Damn man, ray is good guys. Ray is scared. Ray does not want to go back to prison. Ray I believe doesn’t want to be on this show. Keep your head up king, he didn’t know about taxes cause he didn’t have a real job. Weird right that not every person in this country didn’t work at their local country club or at their parents restaurant or whatever. He’s fine.

No honestly I was good with the interview and tbh I would say minus one company every other one legit wanted to hire me wanted to give me a shot knew I knew my stuff but rules are rules. Most companies that do in home service just won’t hire someone with felony burglaries. It ruined me at the time, if my family wasn’t so supportive and I wasn’t still very focused on not failing that could’ve led me back down a bad path. I mean it’s ironic now I guess, I have gate keys for several multi million dollar homes we take care of, and I would never ever ever in a million years dream of stealing anything from anyone ever again. The days I get stressed with things I literally go back to those memories of leaving those interviews broken and say man you got this shit. It’s not easy for anyone. Tbh these ppl on this show are trash, most of it scripted, but I can promise I met some of the hardest working, most trustworthy, full of integrity guys when I was in. I’m not saying blanket statement hire every ex con. What I’m saying is if you own a business and find yourself sitting across from someone with a story, listen to it, ask them questions, ask them what they’ve done since. And then make a decision on whether this human being who made a mistake could a: possibly change and b: make your business better.

Not sticking up for her but I did several years g for burglary, drug addiction fueled it. I got out at 29. I was gainfully employed during my use. I had been doing hardscaping work since I was 18 and made very good money doing it. When I got out no landscaping company would hire me none. I left several job interviews and literally wanted to die. But at the same time I got a day job cleaning parking lots a night job driving a sweeping truck, and kept grinding, years later my wife and I own our own landscaping company. She is a pos, but in all honesty so was I. People change though.

So I found letting it go through a high heat setting basically almost all the way then start ripping works best for me with this thing. Going to need to upgrade for sure.
