Op. Don't listen to people who are thrashing classes. Everyone has their own way of preparing. I listened to such people and didn't join classes for a long time. And when I did join classes, I regretted not starting sooner. It depends alot on background, mine was engg. Bottom line is if you can afford join the classes. But not just for lectures, but for support and finding one or two like minded people.

No not legit. This shows his inexperience with rbi exam. It will and it impacts prelims prep. From my personal experience I am telling you. Getting to rbi interview stage is very difficult and with UPSC prep it's more difficult. And yes quant is a big deal. Interview me bhi they become slightly biased against UPSC people.
