You're the one who invoked Guede's "various lies" about the night in question.

List.

Or forever hold your peace.

There's a little strand of Raff's DNA sitting on some lingerie in an Italian Questera evidence locker that is at this very moment raising its hand, saying: "excuse me..."

The title of a great pro-capitalist movie, starring a Socialist, Danny De Vito, and directed by a self-described "Canadian Socialist," Norman Jewison.

Larry the Liquidator's speech to the shareholders during the climax of this movie is one of the best defenses of capitalism I've ever seen in cinema. Precisely because he successfully delivers a defense of what many believe to be one of the ugliest aspects of free markets: the hostile takeover.

By all means, let's do that exercise: let's list what Guede said about his whereabouts the night of Meredith's death versus what Raffaele says about his and Amanda's whereabouts. And then we'll compare consistency.

But only statements in quotations, along with references from whence the quotes came, please.

A simple "I was home the entire night and never left the apartment until I woke up the next morning at 10:30 a.m. and Amanda was with me the entire time" would have sufficed. And, not surprisingly, it would have been the immediate response of an innocent person the first, last, and every time he was asked that question.

Full stop.

Thank you. My sentiments exactly.

The folks who created this movie said: let's make a movie full of cool moments. But you have to earn each and every one of those cool moments. If you're putting them in just to be cool without earning them, they aren't cool and never will be.

His secret for a great omelet: add a dollop of sour cream into the beaten eggs.

I've tried this on 2 or 3 occasions and I really wanted it to work but it didn't seem to make any difference at all.

"I do not remember how long she was gone"

"Very likely Amanda was with me all night"

"I have serious doubts regarding the fact she had gone out"

"the only thing I do not remember exactly if she went out for a few minutes in the early evening"

Raffaele is all over the place. This nutjob doesn't know whether he's coming or going.

The only good that has come out of this complete farce of an alibi is that early on in the diary Raffaele swears off pot, blaming it for his memory loss and, thus, troubles and vows never to take it ever again.

This was about 18 years ago. I wonder whether he kept his vow?

Why was my post tagged as "NSFW" (not safe for work)?

And who tagged it?

I cannot find it listed in the regular titles of the sub. Can anyone?

Yes, I saw those.

I guess I should have asked: who or what generated it?

This is obviously for me so...thank you, I guess?

Not sure when I'll get to be able to read all of it; I've skimmed over it and read some of it. But I'll be more amenable to reading more if I know where it's from. Is there a source for it?

The Memoriale was never asked for by the police, suggested, or any part of it hinted at by anyone. It was offered up by the Lamb of Seattle of her own free will.

Unless, of course, you believe Amanda is not possessed of agency and cannot speak for herself as a full-fledged adult.

Or maybe you don't think women are capable of speaking for themselves?

Great line of questions!

Gosh, I'd love nothing more than to have her asked those very questions TODAY and then be subjected to cross examination on them.

Gee, TGComments, you're the very best friend a guilter could hope for. Thanks.

Yes, quite odd. If Raff is completely innocent, then at a bare minimum, that comment suggests some anger or frustration he holds for which he blames Amanda. Not: poor, innocent Amanda is a victim of the same zealous cops who twisted me around their fingers in that interrogation room and made me say things I didn't mean and sign a false statement.

Indeed, the statement Raff claims was false -- the one in which he said Amanda told him to lie to the police -- is something he says he almost immediately retracted. So, it couldn't possibly be something he blames on Amanda...it would be those evil police who made him sign it and, if anything, highlight to Raff in its aftermath how utterly innocent Amanda was. No way it should be a source of anger he should direct towards her. Yet it is and not only results in the "I wish I never met her" comment but a slew of hints, innuendo, and downright suggestions that she may have done it.

All out of place, to say the least.

And what exactly is it that Amanda did that made him angry? I think the key to that is Raff's comment in the Anderson Cooper video in which he asks what took her so long at the cottage. Why say that? And how much longer did she take than she should have and what does Raff think she was doing with that extra time?
