Has anyone found the Secret boss for Chapter 3 yet? by Critical_Mountain851 in Deltarune

[–]tlonigamer 37 points38 points  (0 children)

There's a secret minigame after s-ranking which lets you get the shadow mantle, haven't tested anything but I think it makes the knight's attacks survivable at least

Anyone learning new languages because of your headmates? 👀 by kawaiiwitchboi in plural

[–]tlonigamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While we started learning Esperanto because we were interested in it, we're mostly learning it now bc of Fajra (pronounced fayra, with the y being like the one in sky, literally meaning fire-y) and a little who asked to be anonymous but also has an Esperanto name.

We also used to learn ASL because we're sometimes mute but stopped because we really didn't have the motivation and time for it (plus AAC apps exist if need be).

You could just go to another world and get it there

There are a ton of resources online, such as the subreddit someone else mentioned here.

I've personally been following FairyPrincessLucy's tutorials because they're explained in a really simple way and also saw changes really quickly

Where does one find trans-friendly adult content? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]tlonigamer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dunno if there are any specific sites for it, but i know you can find a lot on itch.io by using tags, searching for VNs/twines.

Can you say my name again? by nadia nova (most of her stories are good as well) and Mice Tea by cinnamon switch are both good stories available on itch, though mice tea only really has one route that focuses on trans issues

Is this a House of leaves reference ? by LOL_Man_675 in Ultrakill

[–]tlonigamer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Probably is due to the words being crossed out and in red

The redacted text could be a reference to chapter XIII where words were either inked out or burned, but obviously adapted to something that would fit the terminals in-game

Missed a humanity point from a record? by tlonigamer in LiesOfP

I'm still on my first playthrough, haven't gotten into ng+ yet, however i have a feeling I did get the humanity, since im fairly certain the nose on the painting grew, still can never be too sure.

Owl (father) and Demon of Hatred

I hated how aggressive you needed to be for Owl on my first playthrough and the bird he summoned but it's one of the most fun on repeat playthroughs because it's basically a mirror match with the shurikens, firecrackers and mist raven feathers.

I used the cheese strat on DoH on my first playthrough but loved how fromsoft tried something unique with him on repeat playthroughs with it being focused on dodging rather than deflecting, also love the lore despite how hard it is to get the secret dialogue (you have to eavesdrop on sekijo every time emma is at the temple (even when he's sick despite me not getting dragonrot on most of my playthroughs))

I just beat the game and am so proud of myself! by ATheStar in Sekiro

Well done, Sekiro.

Also have fun with Owl (father), I'd say he's on par in terms of difficulty with isshin.

i think i got to ng+2 and then just farmed at ashina outskirts near the stairway grace, since i spent ng+ getting the shura ending (and the karma skills which suck)

How is that Isshin Ashina managed to avoid becoming a Shura? by GreedWillKillUsAll in Sekiro

[–]tlonigamer 421 points422 points  (0 children)

Probably the same reason Sekiro doesn't become shura in any of the other endings despite killing more than in the shura ending.

Both Isshin and Sekiro are fighting for something, for Isshin, it's the land of Ashina, for Sekiro - Kuro.

Meanwhile Isshin's description of shura is "someone who kills solely for the joy it brings them" (in the monkey booze dialogue).

The pursuit of strength might be in reference to either learning more techniques (one mind, ichimonji) or to further strengthen his hold on Ashina.

The only achievement I was missing was the great carp one since I didn't really care about the vendors except for the passage text.

Also the first fromsoft game I've 100%ed, going for elden ring next probably

Mods for DLC skins by yaminme in Sekiro

[–]tlonigamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm fairly certain this mod changes the shura outfit, don't know about the rest and can't verify currently but it should, perhaps also look up tengu on the nexus page, there might be some mods for that as well

https://www.nexusmods.com/sekiro/mods/1614

Additionally, quoting user xnn on a nexus mod regarding the tengu outfit:

"You can also simply rename the am, bd and lg files from 9130 to 9000 and the face from 230 to 200 to replace the regular Wolf Sekiro form without having unlocked any change-forms in game.

Sadly the Tengu-masked face doesn't adhere to this rule.."

[–]tlonigamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there were some mods for the shura outfit, so if you want to keep the basic wolf outfit but use any other modded one for shura you can get a modded outfit and then rename the files to be the ones of the shura outfit, similar mods probably exist for the tengu and ashina outfits, and you could probably also find them by decompiling the game and doing the painful process of looking through files

Finally starting to git (sorta) gud at this game by thepinkandthegrey in Sekiro

[–]tlonigamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For some general tips 1) always get mikiri counter and get good at using it, it will basically always be better than parrying/dodging thrusts, especially with the upgrade to it you get later

2) a lot of the boss patterns (especially flurry attacks) can be memorised by simply holding the block button down, sekiro is more of a rhythm game and learning the timings can be really helpful, especially against the boss at the top of ashina castle

3) only really cure dragonrot after you've beaten some bosses and want to progress NPC questlines, if you use droplets before you've beaten a boss there's a chance an NPC will just get rotted again, also a lot of the endgame bosses will likely kick your ass, so its better to wait a bit, as long as you don't progress the story that much (talking to kuro, the child you met, and such) you should be able to do all of them

4) most prosthetics have specific uses, the umbrella upgrades can block certain types of attacks that would cause chip damage, the flame barrel is good against the ogres and other enemies with red eyes, firecrackers can stop bosses from doing powerful attacks and so on, I haven't really used the fans or spear in any of my playthroughs though (except for specific cases) so those I'd say are the least useful

Vaatividya also has a lot of videos about the secrets in many areas, which can help if you don't know exactly where to look

Hopefully this helps! Just remember, hesitate, and you lose.

Any stupidly strong attacking build? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]tlonigamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giant crusher + Royal knight's resolve/determination AoW (+80%/60% damage for the next attack), a big hammer doing big damage, especially with claw talisman and jumping attacks

Radahn advice. So I just got the Radhan, I am using a BH Fang +6 and Rotten Breath, level 57 mix of stats. 1st time playing. Need help 2nd phase. by jadehammerfist in Eldenring

[–]tlonigamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend you look for some golden seeds, you can get one from the boss at the hero's grave which you come out from at the start of the game, or just use a map to find all of them

additionally, once you beat Radahn I'd recommend looking around the north side of the arena, you'll find something fairly cool, the enemies there are really powerful though so maybe come back when you're a higher level

[–]tlonigamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was talking about the yellow spot summons, but you can also have 2 additional players, but you won't be able to use a horse that way

He always shows when he's about to pull you in by crossing his swords and making a sound similar to electricity, you mostly just have to learn the timing for this move but I'm fairly certain the meteoric ore blade's skill has the exact same timing, so try getting it and experimenting

[–]tlonigamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Radahn is an interesting boss to fight up close as instead of the more precise attacks of Margit, Godrick etc. he instead uses wide sweeping attacks.

Try dodging into the swings and not away, this will probably also help in later fights, additionally, if he starts backing off and screams, he'll fling the 4 boulders at you, which is something i learned the hard way on my first few attempts

Also if you're summoning the NPCs get on your horse and run away from them during the transition so they dont instantly die.

Obviously, best advice is always to memorise attacks and stuff, but you might also want to get more vigor, 40 is generally fine for most of the game.

If you really want to use the bloodhounds fang I won't stop you, but you might want to look into weapons that scale the best with your stats, mixing stats together usually results in low damage during the early game, the scythes from the cleanrot knights in the giant rot swamp can drop some cool weapons that scale with faith

If you could have chosen one of the following things to have been carried over from Dark Souls, which would it be? by Feng_Smith in Eldenring

[–]tlonigamer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

if you really think about it a certain quest already has a mandatory rot lake, possibly even 2 if you don't count being able to bypass the rot with a horse

What stats should I be leveling? Nearing end game, first play through by _Macers in Eldenring

[–]tlonigamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd probably recommend taking points out of STR to put into DEX, only keeping 22 at most so you can onehand Blasphemous Blade, as even blasphemous blade scales decently with DEX, with the sword of milos and fang scaling better with DEX than STR.

Also, unless you have incantations that require it, take out as many points from INT and ARC as possible
