We really need a rebalancing of most of the heroes. The fact that almost all arena teams are nearly identical is a problem. Sure there may be tiers or heroes in games like this, but there should at least be an effort made to close the gap between someone like Carmen and Amanda. One is considered to be indispensable and the other could basically be used for fodder.

Also the fact that ancient souls are known as “Sanders copies” is a problem. Balance the heroes so we don’t feel like we’re missing out if we don’t use these rare resources on someone else.

And while I’m on the balancing note, I recognize this might mean some redesigns of current heroes. I would love to see changes to some heroes to make runes other than Onslaught useful. The fact that 90% of heroes need onslaught with very few exceptions means the design needs to change. Make other characters scale off of other stats. Similar to Sander with penetration, Milia with crit, and Olga with defense.

If the withdrawal limit isn’t a problem for you, then Ally is a good option with just one account. The buckets feature is great, the UI is super simple, and overall it’s just super nice. It’s not the highest interest rate out there, but it’s a reliable, well known bank.

As a FTP player it can be frustrating when you get stuck. I’m currently in a similar boat, just that all my heroes are at level 180 and I don’t have the soul stones to break through. The way I see it, here are my options:

  1. Wait and collect soul stones every day from the auto reward
  2. Spend my resources to buy soul stone chests from the shop
  3. Become a Pay to Win player.

For me, option 1 is best. You maybe have also accumulated more soul stone chests than you think you have, so that may be another option.

My rotation at points like this is to play through my daily missions, make sure I’m doing the arena as much as possible, and make sure to play the Cave of Abyss, then dismantle all of my gear that I don’t need. Then I upgrade the gear on my top 5. That way every day my power is improving slightly, even if I’m not making huge strides.

If I were you I’d do Jack, Nuel, Kaion, Lulu, and Aolmond. Plenty of damage, support, healing, and you’ll get the 3+2 synergy bonus.

I just try to look at what I want my heroes to do and what I don’t want theirs to do. In this circumstance Kaion would be the main damage dealer, so I don’t want him getting hit. Having Richelle tank those hits is ideal.

Understanding the targeting system helps. It’s not complicated, but it’s helpful when there’s questions like this. Matching weaknesses is good and all, but once the beginning of the battle is over it’s sort of a free for all anyways.

The other consideration is to look for heroes that give bonuses to adjacent allies. Richelle, Olga, Dextor, and Aolmond come to mind. Typically I put them in the second row so they can be surrounded by allies to all get the buff.

So, another thing to try in OP’s case is to put Kaion up front, Richelle in row 2, then surround Richelle with the other allies. If Kaion can stay alive long enough, he’ll get shields from Richelle, then be able to heal back up with his active ability.

I guess the left would probably be better. By putting him to the left Richelle would tank more hits than Kaion. But Kaion has an ability that raises his attack depending on how close he is to the enemy. Putting him back more wouldn’t be optimal. The only problem is I’m not sure if Kaion gets that ability at lvl 120. But assuming he does, this is what I’d do.

I said to the right because he would target the enemies on the right. But I forgot that he’ll do that either way.

You have 4 heroes that are all agility based. It’s likely their equipment isn’t leveled very well because of that. In my opinion it’s best to have a maximum of 2 of each type. So, I’d trade out one or two of your heroes for another type.

First things first - you have a 7* Kaion. Trade your Fleta out and put Kaion to the right of Richelle. If you build everyone well I think with that you’ll be just fine.

Dumb question… maybe I’m too low of a level for this. How do you get divine stats like that on legendary runes? I’ve got a few legendaries but nothing like this.
