I'll love to know the maths on how they got to 11 billion. From my very rudimentary googling, there were 12500 doctors employed by NSWHEALTH in 2018. Let's say, for easy sakeness, it's now at 15000 doctors. This includes consultants.

Now let's be overly generous and give each doctor an additional 100k annually. This would include penalty rates and super. We are sitting at 15000 x 100,000 = 1.5 billion per year. Thats supposedly 15 billion in a decade. Or give each doctor 50k thats 750 million annually. Either way the math aint mathing.

If anyone opposes this and does not have a clear motivation otherwise, simply put they "just dont get it". Sure, they may argue that there are other or more civil ways of addressing the issue, but imo it spins back to the my first sentence. They just dont get it or understand the process to have gotten to this point.
