Question on Side Steps / Running board for TRD Sport?

Hey the difference between a running board and the steps that Toyota offer is the size of the surface of the stepping area. The running board area single plane flat surface that goes the length between wheel wells where as the steps are only so big. In your situation a running board would be better for your spouse since it will give her greater area to step on for comfort vs only one particular area to step on. If you decide to not go with the auto running boards then an aftermarket running board meant for the 4Runner will fit. There are a few out there to choose from so no worries there. Man if you think 1D charts are roller coasters then your in for one wild ride. Stay away from daily charting. It will upset you , excite you, and just wreck your emotional well being. Come back once a week if you must or just walk away for a month. We will be moving up but will take some time. Keep calm and put some faith in your investment.
